Ramaine Barreiro-Lloyd

The Diva of Diva’s and the queen of ‘Bling’! Her entertaining style and gigantic personality will have you enthralled from the minute she steps up on stage. Ramaine, at the age of 5, was already performing with a live band on the nightclub circuit in Cape Town. She starred in her first major production, ‘Bugsy Malone’, at the age of 9. At the age of 12 she joined forces with Emo Adams, Alistair Izobell and Luqmaan Adams to form the group ‘Nu Fancy’ which toured South Africa along with The Rockets and PJ Powers, and went on to record an album. Ramaine, known as the ‘Tina Turner’ of South Africa, boasting powerhouse vocals and a sassy on-stage presence, is a Creative Force to be reckoned with. After 35 years in the industry, her portfolio includes an extremely diverse range of performances and projects: working the hotel circuit in the UAE for four years, more than ten years performing on the local Barnyard Theatre circuit, starring in a number of local musicals, a television performance, various theatre residencies and countless productions in South Africa as well as abroad. Some of the sell-out shows she starred in during her time with the Barnyard Theatre Group included: Natural Women – Divas; Glory Days – 80’s; 60’s Revolution; Born to Run (80’s to 90’s); Mick and Tina; The Fab Four – Beatles; Broadway Rocks, Hollywood Rocks, Hot Chocolate – Motown, The Big Five, and many more. Due to her versatility, her performances include genres from across the board including R&B, Jazz and Rock ‘n Roll. Character performing, Directing, Producing, Choreography, Staging and Costume Design are her forte. As owner of RBL Productions, Ramaine offers an exciting range of highly interactive entertainment options for Corporate & Private events which are created to suit any event size or theme anywhere in South Africa. She regularly performs at Corporate Events right across South Africa and steps up on stage with Felicity Kiran to create a Dynamic Duo of Big-Song hitting Divas in Double Trouble!

Felicity Kiran

Felicity is a seasoned stage performer – a Vocal Dynamo who performs with ease, grace and a Dash of Sass! Felicity, who was already performing from the age of 12, trained at the La Muzik School of Performing Arts. She began her professional career in 1999 and worked with some of South African theatre’s top producers including Alistair Izobell, Mike McCullagh, Natalia de Rocha and Ivor Jones. Felicity has starred in various productions across South Africa and in 2005 she was asked to produce her own show in Spain, followed by six more for various Spanish Resorts. In 2007, she was asked to star in the Sun City Extravaganza, ‘Let There Be Rock!’ which then toured to the Carousel Casino. On the Barnyard Theatre circuit she performed in Viva Las Vegas, Diamonds & Dust, Rocking Hollywood and Rock on Beethoven. In 2008 Felicity toured to Holland and Belgium with the Under African Skies production and also shared the Sun City Superbowl stage with Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child fame. As a solo artist, Felicity has performed for top corporate companies, including Sanlam, Transnet, Sun International, Tsogo Sun and Deloitte & Touche. She also performed for the Prince of Saudi Arabia, and is a highly sought after Corporate and Theatre Performer. Her vocal range lends itself to songs of all genres from Jazz and South African Classics to contemporary songs. Such is her vocal prowess that she was chosen to sing the New Zealand National Anthem for the Castle Tri-Nations rugby game in Port Elizabeth. Felicity also served as Artistic Director for Door 6 Entertainment. In 2014 Felicity starred in ‘Kaapse Musiek in Colour’ with Alistair Izobell. She kickstarted 2015 with ‘Let’s make Musiek’ at the Roxy Revue Bar at Grand West with Alistair Izobell. In January 2016 she performed on the popular ‘Musiek Roulette’ music game show on SABC2, and in March 2015 she had the opportunity to travel to New Delhi, India, as member of a cast of six South African vocalists who performed at the World Culture Festival. She has been performing in various RBL Productions shows in the past few years and joins Ramaine Barreiro-Lloyd on stage to cause ‘Double Trouble’ and offer top quality entertainment!
